One of the best ways to use the EID tags and a Tru-Test XRS2 stick reader is to use the Alert function. If you want to find a special animal, you can type in the VID ear tag number onto the stick reader and just go scanning your animals. When the correct animal is scanned you will get an alert. This can also be used if you have medicated an animal and you want to get an alert on the slaughter deadline.
